Google Nexus 7 Tablet

Google unveiled its own Nexus 7 tablet at the ongoing Google I/O conference in San Francisco.

The Nexus 7 will be the first tablet to run Google's latest version 4.1 Android software named Jelly Bean.

Look into the basic features of the Google Tablet below. 

  • Nexus 7 tablet sports a 7-inch screen with HD display and has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. 
  • Nexus 7 tablet  is having Android 4.1 operating system (OS) dubbed Jelly Bean 
  • The tablet will have 1.2MP front-facing camera for video calling
  • The tablet will be available with the 8 GB model and the 16 GB model.
  • The tablet will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, MicroUSB, microphone, NFC (Android Beam) and GPS. 

Price of the Tablet:
Google has said it will start shipping Nexus 7 by mid July, but users from US, Canada and Australia can book the tablet on Google Play from Wednesday itself.
The 8GB version will cost $199 and 16GB model will cost $249.
